We met at, of all places Wakiti Teepee Resort, a great weekend organised by the new, in-law cousins. Sometimes you met people that you feel you just 'click' with, creatively speaking, and from then you build this amazing network of creatives who will all bounce off each other - Di you are one of those!!

Long time no post...a year in the making, the 'big' day...

My sincere apologies for the lack of posts...

At this time last year I actaully had every intention to post every week, however I had no idea wedding planning could be so darn comsuming! Especially when you want to design, plan and make the special touches yourself! I did have a fair bit of help to some wonderful friends, family and of course my dear hubby!

I have listed the websites for those of you about to embark on the wedding planning journey!

Weekends bring time to go a wandering...

So a weekend with no set plans means I can go like a bower bird and collect things! I have been trying to go to the store, scout in st kilda for a few weeks, so that's the first stop. Then I will see where the roads take me...
I will post all the selecting things I find on my travels...

Inspiration Boards!

I LOVE Inspiration boards! They are great for getting ideas, but usually thats not my problem - it's sticking to an idea and seeing it through....especially when I have a wedding to plan and too much time on my hands (at work, that is!) So I found this blog - http://www.snippetandink.com/.

On my travels....

So whenever the urge calls I go a wandering...
Last weekend it was to Camberwell Market to look for vases and jars for my upcoming wedding (can't reveal too much at this stage!)
but came across a few great stores that I did spend some time in...
The Works - Bed Bath N Table - Burwood Rd Hawthorn a massive store...you name it, they have it for kitchen bathroom bedroom and decor....
Parenthood - Bridge Rd (Hawthorn End) Cute baby and kids stuff...
getting back to wedding stuff.. I didn't have any luck at the market...so the hunt continues, for jars anyway...
I have however, found this - see below- stunning sash or belt which I am currently making. Can't wait to wear it...
